Rules & Regulations

It is an Offense to :

1. Enter the park without an entry permit.

2. Fishing or take photographs without license.

3. Be in possession of any weapon, explosive, trap, net, birdlime, poison or any item used to cause injury to any animal within confinements of the park.

4. Disturb animal habitats (this includes bird’s nests) or capture, injure or kill any animal. Remove any live animal, or any part of a dead animal from the park.

5. Cut, destroy or cause damage to any tree or plant or clear, break up, dig or cultivate any part of land within the confinements of the park.

6. Remove any tree or plant or any part of tree or plant.

7. Destroy, damage, deface any object of zoological, botanical, geological, ethnological or other scientific interests or any object of authentic values.

8. Remove any live animal or any part of a dead animal from the park.

9. Destroy, damage, deface, remove any notice or boundary mark, use any building or vehicle, except with permission granted by a park official who is competent to grant such permission in accordance with the provisions of this enactment.

Park Permit

Permits and licenses are mandatory requirements prior to going to Taman Negara (National Park). You may apply them from the Department of Wildlife’s counters located at the Kuala Tembeling jetty or Mutiara Taman Negara Resort premises for the issuance of the following entry permits and other licenses.

Camera / Video equipment RM 5.00 per unit
Fishing RM 10.00 per fishing rod
Hide RM 5.00 per person
Camping fee RM 1.00 per person per day
Canopy Walkway RM 5.00 per person

 

These licenses are valid for 30 days.  The money collected from the park permit and license will be used as conservation fees of Taman Negara.  You should return the park permit to the Wildlife Department , hotel , tour operator before leaving Taman Negara. In this case , we will know that you leave Taman Negara save and sound .
